Vector Maps

Vector maps are maps that are created using vector graphics technology. Unlike raster maps, which are made up of individual pixels, vector maps are made up of points, lines, and shapes that can be resized and manipulated without losing quality. We specifically include SVG file format in our maps which is a vector-based file format.

Vector maps can be created using specialized software programs such as Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape, which allow users to create and manipulate vector graphics. They can also be created using geographic information systems (GIS) software, which can add geospatial data to the map.

These are commonly used in a variety of applications, including online mapping, print media, and interactive maps. They are particularly useful for online maps because they can be easily scaled and rendered in real-time, making them ideal for applications that require dynamic, responsive maps.
